JESUS, GOD’S GIFT

Hello friends. I want to talk about Christmas, most importantly, gift giving. I don’t necessarily mean material gifts. While material gifts are all fine and good, I think we tend to focus too much on that. My friend, Christmas is about so much more.

Think about it…..God, the same God who created the universe, sent himself as a baby, baby Jesus, to be a gift to all mankind. He came to save each and everyone of us from our sins, so that we can have a place with him in heaven. I don’t know about you, but I think that is an awesome gift, better than any material gift. Being a child of the most high God is the gift that keeps on giving.

Accept and Believe…….

The thing is, we need to accept the gift of Jesus and believe that he died for our sins and rose from the dead and is in heaven waiting for God the father to tell Him to come back for us. Once we do this, we need to share the gift of Jesus with everyone. The gift of salvation is the best gift anyone could ask for.

When God does things for us, provides healing for an illness, provides financial assistance, provides a job, provides the turnaround for a wayward child, whatever it may be, we need to share these gifts with someone else that needs help.

God has given us so many gifts….

A beautiful creation, jobs, homes, clean water, His Word the bible. The list is infinite. Everything good comes from God and because we love Him and are thankful, we should want to share the blessings with others. It is our responsibility.

God has done so much for me, the blessings are countless. I look back over my life and I see God’s hand everywhere on my life. To be honest, the fact that I am where I am today is nothing short of a miracle. Only God could have brought me to this place. That is why I want to share my experiences with you. That is why I enjoy sharing with you. If I can help just one person not make the same stupid mistakes I made, that is a gift to you and me. God loves each and every one of you and so do I. My prayer is no one reading this goes into the New Year without knowing the awesome love of Jesus, God’s Son and what he did for you and me.

Lord, I pray that each person that reads this, that they and their families have a Merry Christmas filled with joy and peace and a Happy New Year. That You would bless them and give them favor and keep them safe. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.
